  1. Double-click the antivirus icon on your desktop or select from the System Tray or select from the start menu programs.
  2. Find the Settings button in the upper-right corner of the window, click it and go to the User Interface Settings category.
  3. In the Interface Settings, select Export and click the Ok button to make changes. On the left side of the main menu, click on the Antivirus tab to pop up the controller for managing the virus scanner.
  4. Enable the Exclusions box; check the mark to activate it.
  5. Click on Add/ + button at the top of a list to start the rule wizard. Make appropriate selections to rule a certain file or program out, and click the Finish button to save changes.
  6. Now, close all ongoing programs, exit the current window, and restart your system to apply exclusions.
